JAC Live is proud to present dynamic rock ‘n roll icon Kid Rock as the headlining artist for their fi[h annual YLive Music Event in Wean Park. Kid Rock will stop in Youngstown on Saturday, July 29th with special guests Lee Brice and Buckcherry. “Kid Rock’s reputation as one of the hardest working acts in rock n’ roll makes him a perfect fit for Y-Live 2023. Kid has sold almost 30 million records worldwide, and those who haven’t seen one of his live performances are in for a night to remember” remarked Eric Ryan, President and CEO of JAC Live.

This year’s event will also feature special guest Lee Brice who recently solidified his place as a valley favorite at his sold-out show at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre last September. “We were looking to round out the line-up for Y-Live with something for everyone and Lee Brice will incorporate that summer party atmosphere that makes the event so special.” Buckcherry will get kick things off with a rocking set sure to get the crowd ready for the biggest party of the year.

Who was the “YSU SUPER FAN”…The Tribute

“Every year we try to raise the bar with Y-Live and we think this line up will help us do just that” adds Ken Bigley, Vice President of JAC Live. “This event was built to honor the hard-working people of this valley, and these artist embody that notion. Their genre-bending catalogs have something for every music fan in Youngstown and beyond.”

This will be JAC’s second year using Wean Park as the site for their largest show of the year. “Anyone who joined us last year saw how perfectly this space lent itself to the show” states Jordan Ryan, Executive Director of Wean Park, “we look forward to using Wean Park once again with the City of Youngstown as our backdrop and the room to create this state-of-the-art concert set up.” Like last year, the set up will include a mega stage and first-class producRon with reserved seaRng in front as well general admission lawn seaRng. There will be an abundance of available concession areas and convenient restroom locaRons through-out the site. Parking opRons will be available including select downtown parking facilities and the Wick Parking Deck on the campus of Youngstown State University with shuttle service provided.

As the event has grown since 2017 so has its support from the community. “Y-Live is more than a concert, it has grown to be the party of the Summer. We love seeing the familiar faces of our sponsors and the loyal fans that support us year-round at this event. We couldn’t do it without their continued commitment to us” adds Eric Ryan. Y-LIVE would not be possible without our presentng sponsors that include #1 Cochran Chevrolet Buick GMC, The DeBartolo CorporaRon, Huntington Bank, SERVPRO, and Southwoods Health.
