Spanning the Need (STN) is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as we build and update the site.
What we are doing
We add descriptive text to images, use readable text sizes and colors, make sure pages can be navigated with a keyboard, and review new content for accessibility. We also use tools that fix common accessibility problems across the site.
Limitations
STN is a small, one-person operation, and some older posts, embedded videos or third-party content may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to improve these over time.
