Nominate an Inspirational Person of the Week
STN | #SpanningtheNeed launched “Inspirational Person of the Week” (POTW) to motivate our community to live a quality life. We feel that these recipients will “Inspire the Uninspired” in our community by way of volunteer work, business, or random acts of kindness in the workplace, at home, on the job and the athletic field, or in our neighboring communities.
With the POTW, we hope to help create more awareness surrounding the kind acts from others that may go unrecognized. As well, we hope it teaches important social and emotional lessons while spotlighting those extraordinary individuals. We will feature individuals and/or groups who are willing to go out of their way to help others, as well as student-athletes who display distinction, dedication, and perseverance in the classroom. Those featured must excel in their community and show that they have gone above and beyond the standard to give back to the community.
Send the following information about the nominees to spanningtheneed@gmail.com below.
Include the following information: Full Name, Email, Phone Number, Person Your Nominating Contact Info (Email & Phone Number and answer the following question, Why does this person deserve Inspirational POTW? Submit Your Comments (be as detailed as possible). Also, attach any pictures and or additional attachments to the email.
Submit Your Video, Photo or Story
Submit Your Good News Video, Photo or Story by uploading it below. We will submit it on our social media platforms listed at the bottom of the website’s footer.
If STN features your video as an individual video on our social media platforms or tell your story on our website, you will receive $50 (American) for your effort.
#SpanningtheNeed is always looking for feel-good heartwarming stories about the great things that are happening in our community and who’s making a difference; did a child win an award, mom’s group plant a community garden, wedding engagements, baby announcements, press releases, etc. Let us know below.
We’re looking for heartwarming in our communities that truly “spans the need” for others to “Inspire, the Uninspiring,” the Good News stories and more. SpanningtheNeed reserves the right to decide whether to use the article, video and/or photograph, which is suitable for reproduction or to crop if necessary. Please allow at 2-4 weeks for material to be reviewed and a response.
