Spanning the Need is now accepting addresses for the 2026 Christmas Loop, a free, self-guided driving tour of the most festive holiday displays in the Mahoning Valley. New this year, the Christmas Loop is also reaching beyond the Valley: people from around the world are invited to submit their favorite holiday locations for the Christmas Around the World map.

The Christmas Loop is a drive-by experience that showcases the most enchanting holiday displays in our region. Families can take a joyful trip through beautifully decorated neighborhoods and see the creative displays that capture the true spirit of Christmas. The Loop is also a way to shine a light on displays that help raise much-needed funds for local charities during the holiday season.

Who can submit an address?

Families, individuals, businesses and organizations are all invited to submit. Whether you have an awe-inspiring light display, a heartwarming nativity scene or a festive wonderland you want to share with the community, we want to hear from you. If your display supports a charity, include that information with your submission.

Submissions are not limited to the Mahoning Valley. Homes, businesses and landmarks from across the country and around the world can be added to the Christmas Around the World map.

Key dates

  • Submission deadline for the first map: November 20. We will keep accepting addresses throughout December.
  • Loop release date: Around November 23.

When the map goes live, it will guide families through the community, bring neighbors together and give everyone a chance to support local charities.

How to submit your address

Visit our Holiday Loops page and scroll down to the Light Loop Entry Form. Fill it out and you are on your way.

Submit your Christmas Loop address

“We are excited to open submissions for this year’s Christmas Loop and to invite people from the Mahoning Valley and around the world to take part. At Spanning the Need, we believe in the power of good news and community spirit. The Christmas Loop embodies both of those ideals, and we can’t wait to see the joy it brings to our neighborhoods and beyond.”

Anthony Spano, Spanning the Need

As the holiday season approaches, we invite everyone in the Mahoning Valley and around the world to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with the Christmas Loop. Join us in making this a memorable season of giving, sharing and community togetherness.
