Grab the blankets and the popcorn: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is free to stream for everyone on Apple TV this weekend. According to Apple, the free window runs Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 18.
The Halloween classic is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It follows Linus as he waits in the pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown collects rocks on Halloween night and Snoopy takes on the Red Baron in his imagination. The special no longer airs on network television, so the free weekend is a good chance for families to watch together without a subscription.
How to watch
- Open the Apple TV app on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, or a supported smart TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation or Xbox.
- No device handy? Go to tv.apple.com in any web browser, find the special and press play. You may be asked to sign in with a free Apple account.
- Remember that the free window is only Saturday and Sunday. Outside of it, the special is available to Apple TV subscribers.
