Bug Day!

Join Mill Creek MetroParks for Bug Day on Saturday, July 18 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Ford Nature Center! There will be live bug exhibits, including “The BUGMAN”, Mark Berman, from Columbus, Ohio. Other fun activities will include gentle and respectful bug-catching and release, bug crafts, a bug tattoo station, and the return of the “Bad Bug” Forest Walk. Children who complete all of the Bug Day activities will earn a “Masters Of Bugology” certificate. Make plans to attend and get your fill of some creepy-crawlies! Free parking at Ford Nature Center is limited but there will also be parking available at Pioneer Pavilion. Snacks, a framed photo at the Bug-themed photo booth, and trolley rides will be available for purchase (cash only). No registration required. Accessibility Notice: Please note that the trolley is open-air and does not have heat or air conditioning. It is not handicap accessible, and boarding requires stepping up a large step, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.
