Holiday Loops (Halloween/Christmas)

The event encourages community connection, spreading joy and unity through imaginative decorations that light up the region. Below are the addresses submitted by the community. We also received additional locations from the community and extend our gratitude to them. In 2025, we had nearly 400 locations throughout northeast Ohio, and our 2026 Halloween Loop brought 17 routes and 87 stops to the Mahoning Valley and beyond.

Christmas Loop 2026: Mahoning Valley and Around the World

Christmas Loop Details: ACCEPTING ADDRESSES NOW, FROM THE MAHONING VALLEY AND AROUND THE WORLD (See below)
Submission Deadline for Addresses: November 20 for the first map. We will keep accepting addresses throughout December.
Loop Release Date: Around November 23rd. The Mahoning Valley Loop and Christmas Around the World will be released together in one guide article, just like our Halloween Loop guide.

This year the Christmas Loop has two parts. The Mahoning Valley Loop is our set of drivable routes, grouped so there are no long drives between stops. Christmas Around the World is a separate gallery for homes anywhere on the globe, so we can celebrate the holiday season together. Homes outside the Mahoning Valley will not be added to the driving routes, but they will be featured in the Around the World gallery. Fill out the Light Loop Entry Form at the bottom of this page to send your address, or message us on Facebook or Instagram. If your home is outside the Mahoning Valley, we will show only your city and state, and only with your permission.

Ready to be included? Scroll to the Light Loop Entry Form at the bottom of this page and fill it out. Mahoning Valley homes join the drivable loops, and homes anywhere in the world join Christmas Around the World. Submit by November 20 to be on the first map; we will keep adding addresses throughout December.

How It Works:

1. Address Submission: From now through December (addresses submitted by November 20th will be on the first map release), homeowners and businesses can submit their addresses and the information we request to be included in the Christmas loop. Mahoning Valley addresses join the drivable loops. Addresses from anywhere in the world join the Christmas Around the World gallery. This is an opportunity for homeowners and businesses to showcase their creativity and spirit.
2. Loop Release: Around November 23rd, the Christmas Loop map and the Christmas Around the World gallery will be made available to the public on the Spanning the Need website. The map will guide participants through the community, highlighting the most imaginative displays in specific areas of the region, with additional information on the website and homes doing fundraisers for their specific charities.
3. Community Fun: Participants are encouraged to drive the loop with their family and friends, enjoying the stunning decorations while fostering a sense of community spirit.
