It’s MAY MOVIE MANIA at the Robins Theatre in downtown Warren, Ohio. Three classic films will be presented this month: THE DEPARTED, GONE WITH THE WIND, and AMERICAN GRAFFITI.

Please join us for a movie night (or two or three) at the beautiful Robins Theatre!

Tickets cost $7. Tickets are on sale now at www.robinstheatre.com and will be available at the Robins Theatre box office at 160 E Market St. Warren, Ohio. The box office is open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on the night of the shows.

THE DEPARTED

Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

South Boston cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) goes undercover to infiltrate the organization of gangland chief Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). As Billy gains the mobster’s trust, a career criminal named Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) infiltrates the police department and reports on its activities to his syndicate bosses. When both organizations learn they have a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin must figure out each other’s identities to save their own lives.

GONE WITH THE WIND

Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland and Hattie McDaniel star in this classic epic of the American South. On the eve of the United States Civil War, rich, beautiful, and self-centered Scarlett O’Hara (Leigh) has everything she could want–except Ashley Wilkes (Leslie Howard). But as the war devastates the South, Scarlett discovers the strength within herself to protect her family and rebuild her life. Through everything, she longs for Ashley, unaware that she is already married to the man she really loves (Gable)–and who truly loves her–until she finally drives him away. Only then does Scarlett realize what she has lost … and decide to win him back. Considered one of the greatest classic American movies, Gone With The Wind won 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, Hattie McDaniel, the first Oscar awarded to an African-American actor.

AMERICAN GRAFFITI

Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

On the last day of summer vacation in 1962, friends Curt (Richard Dreyfuss), Steve (Ronny Howard), Terry (Charles Martin Smith) and John (Paul Le Mat) cruise the streets of small-town California while a mysterious disc jockey (Wolfman Jack) spins classic rock’n’roll tunes. It’s the last night before their grown-up lives begin, and Steve’s high-school sweetheart, a hot-to-trot blonde, a bratty adolescent, and a disappearing angel in a Thunderbird provide all the excitement they can handle.
