The Mahoning Valley Volleyball Officials Association is awarding two $500.00 scholarship amounts to volleyball players in District 1. District 1 extends from Columbiana County through Mahoning, Trumbull and into Ashtabula Counties all the way to the lake.
The $500 scholarships will be awarded to the student athlete upon successful completion of the first semester/quarter of their college program and meet the criteria of a college GPA of 3.0 or higher. One disbursement will be made payable directly to the student after proof of transcript eligibility.
Applications are NOW due October 15th. The applicant must have two references as well as complete their information on the application to be considered. The Scholarship Winners will be awarded at the District One Volleyball All-Star Game.
