Wetlands Wonders: A Walk & Talk and Screening Experience at Mill Creek Park at Newport Wetlands will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 11:00am-1:00pm.
Join PBS Western Reserve and Mill Creek MetroParks for a special screening of By Nature’s Design, followed by a Q&A session where you can engage with experts and learn more about the importance of wetlands. They will also take a walking tour (optional, but registration is required) of the Newport Wetlands to explore these vital ecosystems firsthand.
By Nature’s Design is a local docuseries produced by PBS Western Reserve that highlights a different area of native wildlife in our region each season. The first season will focus on wetlands. The first episode will be an overall look at the wetlands in Ohio, their impact on the ecosystem, some dangers to the wetlands, and what the future of Ohio wetlands looks like.
This event is free and open to all, but registration is required. It is recommended for participants aged 16 and older. Once registered, you will receive detailed instructions and directions from Mill Creek MetroParks.
