Stories of the Mahoning Valley Immigrants: England

Mahoning Valley Cultural Alliance announces its upcoming Stories of Mahoning Valley Immigrants series that celebrates the rich diversity of cultures within the Mahoning Valley. The next event recognizing those who immigrated from England will be held on Monday, May 6, at 5:00pm at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Rd., Canfield, Ohio. The cost to attend is $35 for Mahoning Valley Historical Society members, and $40 for non-members.
Speaking at the event will be Dr. Peter Norris, YSU Professor of Chemistry, who was born and reared in England. The meal will be provided by the WRUM church caterers, while cultural enrichment will be offered by the internationally acclaimed pianist, Roman Rudnytsky.
