Youngstown State University presents “Playboy of the Western World” February 14-16 & February 21-23, 2025 in YSU Spotlight Theater in Bliss Hall.

Step into the rugged beauty of rural Ireland with J.M. Synge’s classic masterpiece, “Playboy of the Western World.” This timeless comedy follows Christy Mahon, a charming young man whose tall tales of heroism captivate a small village, leading to unexpected twists and uproarious laughter. This production combines humor, wit, and poignant themes of identity and acceptance, creating a truly unforgettable theatrical experience.
