First Wednesday Reader Series

Lit Youngstown’s First Wednesday Reader Series presents fiction writers Alex Puncekar of Cincinnati and T.J. Sandella of Cleveland, Wednesday, August 7 at 7:00pm at the Westside Bowl, 2617 Mahoning Ave. The reading will be in the Trophy Room on the lower level, which is accessible only by steep stairs.

Alex Puncekar was, for many years, an editorial assistant for Lightspeed Magazine, Fantasy Magazine, and Nightmare Magazine. His fiction has appeared in Aphelion: The Webzine of Science Fiction and Fantasy and Jenny Magazine.

T.J. Sandella is the author of Ways to Beg (Black Lawrence Press) and the recipient of an Elinor Benedict Prize for Poetry (selected by Aimee Nezhukumatathil), a William Matthews Poetry Prize (selected by Billy Collins), and two Academy of American Poets Prizes.

The First Wednesday reading in September will feature Roger Craik and Dave Lucas.
