Closing Reception – Women at Work

A closing reception for Women at Work: Change and Continuity, 1940s-2010s will be held on November 10 at 6:00pm. Dr. Sherry Linkon, Professor of English, and Director of the Writing Program at Georgetown University, discusses “What does the future hold for workers?” From 1997 to 2012, Linkon was Co-Director of the Center for Working-Class Studies at Youngstown State University. Her most recent book, The Half-Life of Deindustrialization: Working-Class Writing about Economic Restructuring (Michigan, 2018) examines contemporary American working-class literature and media.
