Joy of Christmas Light Show
Get into the holiday spirit at the Joy of Christmas Light Show in historic Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park in Columbiana! Now in its 18th year, this beloved holiday tradition features dazzling light displays, handcrafted gingerbread creations, an Ice Castle, Santa and Mrs. Claus, children’s activities, $1 concessions, and more.
The light show is open select nights from November 20 through December 27, 2026, from 6–9 p.m. Drive through the festive displays or visit on special Walk-It Nights for an up-close holiday experience.
Joy of Christmas Light Show 2026 (JOC) takes place on select nights, 6-9 p.m., in November and December:
- Friday – Sunday | Nov. 20, 21, 22, 23
- Thursday – Sunday | Nov. 26, 27, 28, 29
- Thursday – Sunday | Dec. 3, 4, 5, 6
Thursday, Dec. 10 – Sunday, Dec. 27, 2026 (excluding Dec. 25/Closed Christmas Day)
The JOC 2026 special event dates include:
- Friday, Nov. 20: Opening Night + Walk-It Night + Hayride ($5) + Media Night (no cars) + Columbiana Christmas Parade (JOC opens immediately after the parade)
- Every Sunday: $10 entry for first responders, veterans & adults 65yo+ (please provide ID)
- Tuesday, Dec. 1: Twas the Night Before 5k: CLOSED TO PUBLIC (lights on for private event)
- Wednesday, Dec. 2: Santa’s Special Night: CLOSED TO PUBLIC (lights on for private event)
- Wednesday, Dec. 16: Walk-It Night + Hayride: $5 entry; leashed dogs permitted (no cars)*
- Wednesday, Dec. 23: LAST NIGHT for Mr. & Mrs. Claus!
- Thursday, Dec. 24 – Sunday, Dec. 27: LIGHTS ONLY (Gingerbread House & Ice Castle CLOSED)
- Friday, Dec. 25: LIGHT SHOW CLOSED for holiday!
- Sunday, Dec 27: Walk-It Night: $5 entry; Ice Castle & Gingerbread House closed (no cars)
Admission is $20 per vehicle or $40 for a seasonal pass.
