During his undergraduate years at YSU (1978-1982), he was a highly coveted member of their men’s club bowling team, a group that traveled to college tournaments throughout Ohio each weekend.
In the 80’s, he was a member of the OTBA (Ohio Tournament Bowling Association), traveling once a month throughout the state of Ohio to bowl against the absolute best amateur and regional professional bowlers the state had to offer.
