Red-White Spring Football Game Set for Tomorrow at Stambaugh Stadium

The Youngstown State football team will play its annual Red-White Spring Football Game on Saturday morning at Stambaugh Stadium. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The contest will be carried live on 570 WKBN.

Admission for the contest is free while parking is available in nearby YSU lots for $5.

The game will feature two 20-minute halves with normal clock procedures. The Guins will take the field a little after 10 o’clock for pre-game warmups.

Who was the “YSU SUPER FAN”…The Tribute

Members of the offensive line will play for both the Red and White teams and will wear black jerseys. Starting quarterback Mitch Davidson will work with both units at the game’s outset before QBs Beau Brungard (red) and Max Blanc (white) will quarterback the remainder of the game.

The red team features running back Dra Rushton, tight end Jake Benio, wide receiver Max Tomczak, defensive end Andres Lehrmann, linebackers Greg Benton Jr., and Keon Freeman, safety Tyjon Jones, cornerbacks Amarian Robinson and Jordan Trowers.

The specialists for the red squad are PK Andrew Lastovka, long snapper John Ruh and punter Brendon Kilpatrick.

The white team features wide receivers Bryce Oliver and Latrell Fordham, defensive end Dylan Wudke, linebackers Alex Howard and Devin Johnson, safeties Quincy Lenton and Marcus Hooker, defensive back D’Marco Augustin and cornerback Ezekiel Blake.

The specialists for the white squad are PK Clay Medvec, PK Jonathan Schmidt, long snapper Sam Merryman and punter Kyle Walker.
