Local entrepreneur, D.J. Yokley, was recognized recently for his outstanding achievements in the sports broadcasting business world when he received the area’s Business Elite 40 under 40 award. Yokley is the founder and CEO YSN, Your Sports Network which is a sports media company in the Mahoning Valley.
Since its inception, YSN has provided comprehensive coverage and analysis of the latest news and events and under his leadership, the company has expanded its reach to a regional and national level, attracting a large and dedicated following nationwide.

We talk about his business skills, but now DJ and YSN are dealing with a major catastrophe in there backyard…The East Palestine Derailment of a train on February 3, 2023. DJ has been in the middle of this disaster and has been volunteering to deliver water and other necessary essentials to the community.
This past Sunday, he and his fellow YSN team, delivered over 200 cases of water to residents of East Palestine because there has been questions mounting about the drinking water in the area. DJ went on to say in a facebook post that, “We told stories, we heard stories, and we met people that just want to help lend a hand in any way they possibly can. I couldn’t be more proud of the crew that went out today, and I thank everyone that donated resources to launch this.”
He continued to mention that “after 2 weeks of losing-We won Today.”
This is just another attribute of DJ on what he has been able to accomplish in business and the community. The situation in East Palestine is scary and STN supports DJ & his colleagues for what they are doing.
The Business Elite 40 under 40 award recognizes outstanding young entrepreneurs who have made a significant impact in their respective industries with Yokley one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs in the Valley. The award is a testament to his dedication and drive.

YSN started as a resource that was felt the Mahoning Valley was missing at that time. High school and amateur athletes make up 97% of athletics worldwide.
