Local Brookfield Company Receives Assistances to Create Jobs from the State of Ohio

The state of Ohio announced the approval of assistance for 14 projects set to create 1,663 new jobs and retain 3,457 jobs statewide.

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $99.7 million in new payroll and spur more than $202.6 million in investments across Ohio.



Local construction company receive money to help create jobs and generate millions of dollars of local payroll. See below for the full details.

Shambaugh & Son LP, Brookfield Township (Trumbull County), expects to create 75 full-time positions, generating $4.1 million in new payroll, as a result of the company’s new location project in Brookfield Township. Shambaugh specializes in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, health care, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects. The TCA approved a 1.417%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
