YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The bull riders of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) are headed to Ohio and ready to buck February 11-12 at The Covelli Centre for the PBR Youngstown Invitational. Ohio fans will be on the edge of their seats as the weekend gets underway on Friday Feb. 11 at 8 p.m EST. Each rider will be matched with one bull during Rounds 1 and 2 before the top 10 riders with the highest scores advance to the championship round on Saturday night.

The overall event winner will be the rider who has earned the most points over three rides. Despite the below-freezing temperatures outside in February of 2020, Cody Campbell kept the crowd hot inside The Covelli Centre with his event-winning 2-for-3 performance at the 2020 PWVT Youngstown Invitational. With two rides of 88-points, Campbell was first-place in Round 1 and Round 2. After conquering Stonewall on Friday night, Campbell returned and put Pure Gangster on lockdown in Round 2. The Washington native hit the dirt early during the championship round, bucking off of Crossover in just 1.58 seconds, but Campbell’s 176-point aggregate score earned him the event win.

In addition to the coveted event buckle and world standings points, winners, like Campbell, of each PWVT event are guaranteed at least one opportunity to compete at a PBR Unleash The Beast regular-season event where they can attempt to earn enough points to join the Top 35 bull riders in the world for a spot competing at the sport’s premier level.

The action in Youngstown begins at 8 p.m EST on Friday, Feb. 11 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. EST and can be purchased at the The Southwoods Health Box Office, online at TicketMaster.com and pbr.com or by phone at 800-732-1727. Prices range from $15 to $100. Fans can upgrade their ticket purchase for weekend by selecting the “Premium Experience Add-On” for $50 per person.

This elevated experience includes a $10 concession voucher, pre-event photo on the dirt, “Stars of the PBR” collectors’ book, souvenir credential and lanyard. Avid bull riding fans who are looking for an exclusive VIP experience can purchase a “PBR Elite Seat” for $175.

These tickets offer premium seats closest to the action, a $10 concession voucher, a question-and-answer presentation and tour with top PBR talent, pre-event dirt access/photo and souvenir credential and lanyard. Youngstown’s “Premium Experience Add-On” and “PBR Elite Seat” can both be purchased by contacting the PBR Customer Service Department at 800-732-1727 or by visiting Ticketmaster.com or pbr.com.
