NEUR NetWorks: Connecting & Communicating for Creatives

A workshop-style networking event will be held on Wednesday, May 20 from 7:30pm-9:30pm at Concept Studio for creatives who want to turn passion into a sustainable brand and connect with serious peers.

NEUR NetWorks is a recurring networking and learning experience created specifically for creative entrepreneurs who are serious about building sustainable, professional businesses.

Connection & Communication for Creatives is designed for creatives who are ready to move beyond “just doing what they love” and begin building stronger relationships, clearer communication, and real community around their work.

Travis Pownell of Fred Astaire Dance Studios will be leading this NEUR NetWorks session on connection and communication. Travis is the regional dance director for Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Ohio, with a background rooted in the performing arts and small business training—work that naturally centers on helping people connect, build confidence, and communicate through presence and partnership.

This is a two-hour, workshop-style event that blends guided learning, intentional conversation, and community. The goal is simple: To help creative entrepreneurs walk away feeling understood, equipped, and confident about their next steps.

This event is best suited for creatives who are actively building or preparing to build a business and want to be in a room with others who take their work seriously.
