The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform a Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30pm at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The Legendary big band will bring their extensive repertoire of hits, along with Christmas Favorites to Stambaugh Auditorium. American musician, arranger, composer, and bandleader, Glenn Miller, is one of the best known names from the swing era.
The current eighteen-member ensemble performs many of the hits from both the original band and the Army Air Force Band, along with modern tunes arranged in the Miller style. The current band travels over 100,000 miles each year to play nearly 300 dates, and has been “on the road” longer than any other Big Band ever.
