Mobilizing Midlothian Community Bike Ride & Health Fair

YO! Motion: Mobilizing Midlothian Community Bike Ride & Health Fair will be held on Sunday, June 29, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at The Youngstown Playhouse. This FREE, community bike ride and family-friendly event is designed to mobilize residents around the Midlothian corridor bike lane. The goal is to not only promote safe and healthy cycling but to celebrate the rich history and positive changes happening in the Midlothian corridor. During the event, they will be stopping at various local landmarks to highlight the vibrant community and the exciting developments taking place. Participants will learn about the history of iconic locations like the Youngstown Playhouse, Schewbel’s Bakery, and the new developments by YNDC that are revitalizing the area. This route will offer an opportunity to explore the ongoing transformation and growth within Youngstown while engaging with the surrounding community. Pre Registration is encouraged via “Eventbrite”.

During the event, the community will have an opportunity to:
– Participate in a group ride led by CycWard Bike Club
– Receive free health screenings
– Taste local cuisine (food trucks)
– Connect to critical social and health services
– Connect to the growing cycling community in Youngstown
– Learn about the rich history between the Glenwood Ave & Midlothian Blvd corridors
