Mahoning Valley Corned Beef Challenge

The Mahoning Valley Irish Festival is thrilled to bring back the Corned Beef Challenge, now in its second year, inviting the community to discover who crafts the best corned beef in the Mahoning Valley.
The event will be held on Friday, February 2 at 5:30pm at Penguin City Brewing in downtown Youngstown. Open to both amateurs and professionals, this gastronomic showdown is a chance to showcase corned beef mastery. Competitors will have the opportunity to win not only cash prizes but also the coveted bragging rights just in time for St. Paddy’s Day festivities.
Cost is $25 per participant. Participants are requested to provide 200 samples of their delectable corned beef creations. Act quickly to secure your place, as only a limited number of participants will be accepted.
