LIT at TEN Gala

Lit Youngstown celebrates its tenth anniversary with an (un)gala, Lit at Ten, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 7:00pm. The event will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Youngstown. Attendees are encouraged to dress as literary villains or in whatever attire they like to commemorate ten years and the literary legacy of Youngstown.

The evening will include brief readings by Youngstown natives Allison Pitnii Davis, Cherise Benton, Dante DelBene and Jimmy Sutman, as well as readings of important local literary figures by Terry Murko, Bill Mullane and Phil Brady. Lori Factor and W. Rick Schilling will judge a costume contest of literary villains and music will be provided by Katherine O’Neill. Desserts and savory noshers will be available, as well as cocktails and mocktails served by celebrity bartenders John Noga & Shawn Crum. The evening will conclude with a basket raffle chance auction.

Individual tickets will be $45 until January 25. Walk-ins are welcome and day of tickets will be $55 at the door. An option to enjoy the evening with a table of eight friends is available for $280. For more information or to buy tickets, please visit lityoungstown.org/2025-lit-winter-un-gala.
