Kiss Me Kate – University Theatre

Concluding YSU University Theatre’s 2025-26 season will be Kiss Me Kate, a musical by Cole Porter and Bella and Samuel Spewack, for one weekend only, April 16-19. Centered around a production of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, this show follows the on- and off-stage conflict between its characters, particularly exes Fred and Lilli and their turbulent relationship as they both start seeing other people.

Performances are April 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30pm and April 19 at 2:00pm in YSU Ford Theater, located in Bliss Hall. Tickets for this event may be purchased by visiting ysu.tix.com. Parking is available in the Wick Avenue Deck (M30) for a $5 fee payable in cash only.
