Bug Day!

Join Mill Creek MetroParks for Bug Day! on Saturday, July 19 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Ford Nature Center. There will be a live bug exhibit featuring “The BugMan”, Mark Berman, from Columbus, where guests will be able (and encouraged) to touch and hold some of the creatures for an up-close bug experience that is second to none. Other fun activities will include gentle and respectful bug-catching and release, bug crafts, and a bug tattoo station. Make plans to attend and get your fill of some creepy-crawlies! Limited free parking is available on site, as well as at Pioneer Pavilion and Slippery Rock pavilion which are just a short walk to the Nature Center.  There will be snacks and a framed photo at the Bug-themed photo booth that includes lots of different bug costumes available for purchase (cash only).
