29th Annual Streetscape

Youngstown CityScape invites you to be part of the 29th annual Streetscape Planting Day as they clean and beautify downtown and prepare for a fun-filled summer. Last year, over 1,000 volunteers supported Youngstown CityScape’s program that brings color and beauty downtown. Your commitment will help them beat their record and show off our city’s best!

Come help plant, mulch, and weed on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00am-12:00pm. This year’s theme, “Red, White, & Bloom!” reminds us that this summer is all about commemorating America 250, and CityScape plans to celebrate by leaning into the red, white and blue as they help beautify the center city, neighborhoods, and gateways. It is a theme they hope conveys a feeling of togetherness, tradition, and shared American history as they make our community a more beautiful place one flower at a time.
