The Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s annual Memories of Christmas Past at the Arms Family Museum once again fills Youngstown with nostalgia and Christmas cheer. This year’s exhibit features a creative mix of classic holiday scenes, community history, and family-friendly displays.

Guests are instantly drawn to the charming Idora Park tribute, bringing back memories of the beloved Youngstown amusement park. The fun continues with a beautifully decorated Home Alone–style dining room, complete with details that make you feel like you’ve stepped right into the movie.

A festive Snoopy kitchen adds a playful touch, delighting both kids and adults, while craft areas give children a chance to make their own holiday keepsakes.

Beautifully designed and full of heart, Memories of Christmas Past celebrates the traditions and stories that make the season special in the Mahoning Valley. We captured photos throughout the museum to showcase just how magical these displays truly are.
