Columbiana Volleyball and Soccer teams are “Winning for Winnie”

CHS Boys’ Soccer Coach, Chad Vollnogle’s young daughter Winnie is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia; The Clipper Community is coming together to host an evening of Volleyball and Soccer to raise funds for her battle.

CHS Volleyball and Soccer are coming together to host an evening of fundraising for Winnie Vollnogle. The two-year-old was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and will undergo several rounds of chemo and treatment. Winnie’s father, Chad, is the Head Boys’ Soccer Coach at Columbiana High School.



“Winning for Winnie” will raise funds to assist the Vollnogle Family as Winnie begins her treatments at Akron Children’s Hospital. The evening will consist of Volleyball, Soccer, and Raffle Baskets.

The Lady Clipper Volleyball team will host Southern Local and the Boys’ Soccer team will host United. The teams have also coordinated generously donated raffle baskets in which proceeds will directly benefit Winnie and her family.

WHEN: Boys Soccer at 5pm vs. United (Sept 26) and Girls Volleyball at 5:30pm vs. Southern Local (September 27)
