(Youngstown) – The Mahoning Valley Fan “Player & Coach of the Year,” presented by Spanning the Need with host Anthony Spano is announcing that voting for the Mahoning Valley’s girls’ softball, boys’ baseball, and coach of the year is now open, (VOTE NOW) concluding on Friday, May 14th at 3 pm as we give the fans the opportunity to vote for this year’s players and coaches of the year for Spring Sports. More than 45 Mahoning Valley schools (Trumbull, Mahoning, & Columbiana County) have taken part and submitted a player and/or coach for the honor of being named Player or Coach of the Year.

Throughout the voting period, fans may submit (VOTE NOW) every 24-hour cycle via the website through a designated email. All current top players from the Mahoning Valley (Trumbull, Mahoning & Columbiana) are available for selection after receiving input from the community.

Fans will account for 100 percent of all voting. Spanning the Need, with host Anthony Spano, and Malutic Live co-host, Austin Malutic, will reveal this year’s winners the week of May 16th on a special episode of Spanning the Need on our YouTube Channel. Check out www.AnthonyVSpano.com for day and time.

How Fans Can Vote:
Voting can be done at AnthonyVSpano.com/sports every 24 hours: Fill out one full ballot per day (per day is defined as once every 24 hours) from a desktop or mobile browser, registered by the e-mail address. The email will allow up to 12 total votes during the voting cycle, per designated email. Fans can select one boy player, one girl player, and one coach from each of the four categories when choosing.

About Spanning the Need
Anthony Spano created the podcast “Spanning the Need.” This podcast examines a variety of subjects that impact everyday life around the world. Some of the topics include politics, heartfelt-feel good stories, health, education, sports, and giveaways. The show is new, but Anthony felt a calling to tell the stories and launch his podcast in 2020 as it’s a part of his Master’s course requirement. More info at AnthonyVSpano.com.
