Undiscovered Worlds – Ward Beecher Planetarium
March 11 @ 8:00 pm EST
Through the discovery of exoplanets – the hundreds of planets that have been found orbiting stars beyond the Sun – we have learned that our solar system is not alone in the Universe and we have had to redefine our understanding of planets and solar systems. With new achievements like the Kepler Telescope and rapidly improving technology, the discovery of exoplanets puts us one step closer to the possibility of finding an Earth-like world.
Shows are Fridays, March 10, 17 & 24 at 8:00pm; and Saturdays, March 11, 18 & 25 at 8:00pm. All shows are free and open to the public (donations are always appreciated). For more information, visit their website or call 330-941-1370.
Limited street parking is available on Lincoln, Phelps, Hazel, and Wood Streets. Parking is also available in the Wick Ave. parking deck (M1) for a fee, or free with a YSU parking permit.
