Recycling Education Event and Drive

Open to the public at the Steel Museum on October 15, 2022 beginning at 1:00pm. Join industry leaders as they educate and empower the Youngstown area community to improve our environment by making recycling easier and to show how multifaceted recycling already is in the Mahoning Valley.

Green Team, Iron City Wood Products, Metalico, Star Supply, Summit Polymers, TerraSafe Recycling, and YSU Recycling will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the wide variety of items that can now be successfully recycled locally.

2:00pm Dr. Tom Leary will present information regarding recycling materials in the steel industry.

Guests are invited to bring items to recycle such as aluminum, batteries, electronics, Styrofoam, etc… (industry representatives reserve the right to refuse items at their discretion)
