Community Dialogue – Mental Health

“Mental Health: How is it being addressed in the schools?” will be the topic of the second Community Dialogue, whose purpose is to inform the community at large of the various issues and concerns facing us all. It will occur Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 6:30-8:00pm at Boardman United Methodist Church (6809 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512) in the Fellowship Hall.

Presenting the “Mental Health” topic will be Meg Harris (Community Support & Trauma Supervisor from Alta Care Group) and Bart Smith (Glenwood Jr High Principal). Discussion will include the BRYT Program which helps students transition back to school after trauma experiences. After the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer time period.
